I like the second one, is the sword in the first one meant to mean anything cause it look a bit random, I don't remember a sword having anything to do with a1 or communisim

Not really, it's just a generic symbol. It was actually my least favourite one that I did.

On the one it looks like we've chosen:
    The star is the regular communist star
    The shield is the protection and safety provided by the state
    The sickle is our industriousness
    The sword is our dedication to communism and our willingness to fight for it if need be
    The laurel is our commitment to peace.
Is that sufficient?

The old one is crap. I was sort of out of ideas at that stage, but the COA desperately needed to be changed.

You should keep to the green star though, if I may suggest. It is very unique and representative of A1.

Yes I suppose - our national colours at the moment (red, yellow & green). I'll keep that in mind.
